When I started making bags in 2013, I realised that some tools needed to streamline and speed up the manufacturing process were simply not available. Because of this, I began designing and making my own tools.
I am based in Knysna, South Africa, where I design and use these tools in the making of my bags and leather accessories. All the tools displayed here are tools that I designed and had manufactured for my own use, and they have proven to deliver very good results. All of my tools are locally made in South Africa. Pricking iron pull-out tool
This is a simple but so elegant and useful solution, to easily pull the pricking iron out of the leather without distorting the holes, great help especially for previously glued areas.

Leather edge skiving jig
These templates are designed for 801 skiver machines and will help one to adjust the desired width for edge skiving. This is the easiest and most precise way to set the machine with the desired size for edge skiving.
